What thinkai does. The thinkai browser extension reads the streamed responses from AI assistants you use (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other supported engines) for the sole purpose of extracting the web-search queries those assistants run, and showing them to you.
What stays on your device. Your
prompts, the captured search queries, and your history are stored locally in
your browser (chrome.storage.local). They are never
transmitted to thinkai or any third party.
Your account. If you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password to authenticate you and record your plan. To unlock paid features the extension checks your plan over an authenticated request to thinkai; this sends only your session, not your prompts or queries.
Gemini lookups (Max plan). When you use the Gemini query-lookup feature, the prompt you type is sent to Google's Gemini API to retrieve the search queries it would run. Only the prompt you enter in that box is sent; nothing is captured from your Gemini chats.
Payments. Payments are processed by Whop. thinkai never sees or stores your card details.
Contact. Questions: reach out via the support channel on your thinkai account page.
